Imagine the warm, woody tones of acoustic guitar, upright bass & trap kit, paired with the lush, distinctive timbre of Wurlitzer and Hammond organ, each played expertly by master musicians. Now, add the soulful, stirrings of songsmith Bruce Coughlan as they perform a collection of original Retro-esque Roots, Rhythm & Blues music.

Featuring selections from Bruce’s recent release, Waiting for Rain, the ensemble emanates the softer side of Soul Music in the late 1960s and early 1970s. With original music reminiscent at times of artists like Otis Redding, Bill Withers and Van Morrison, the audience can expect an experience that is both fresh and familiar, enjoying songs that ring with sincerity and authenticity.

The multi-talented line up of musicians include:

Bruce Coughlan: Vocals & Acoustic Guitar

Simon Kendall: Wurlitzer & Hammond

Rob Becker: Upright bass

Geoff Hicks: Drums
